Grant Application Process and Application
The Foundation for Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified Schools
awards grants to enrich the curriculum goals of Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified
School District. The goals of the grant process are to create new and innovative
ways to enhance educational programs for students and staff.
School Site grants are reviewed once per year. For the current
academic year, the Foundation will allocate $5,000 for school site grants. These grants are specifically designed to impact school sites directly.
Classroom Educational grants are reviewed once per year. For the
current academic year, the Foundation will allocate $5,000 for educational
grants. These grants will be used to support the District’s overall educational
goals.
Program grants are reviewed once per year. For the current academic
year, the Foundation will allocate up to $20,000 for the enhancement of overall
educational programs for the students and staff of Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified
School District through expanded funding opportunities for arts, agriculture,
athletics, and academics:
- Arts-Foundation will
allocate up to $5,000
- Agriculture–Foundation will
allocate up to $5,000
- Athletics –Foundation
will allocate up to $5,000
- Academics–Foundation will
allocate up to $5,000
Application release - Tuesday, August 9, 2022 - Deadline - Friday, September 16, 2022 Awarded - Friday, October 7, 2022.

The applications are reviewed by the Grant Review
Committee and then voted on by the Foundation Board of Directors during a
regularly scheduled board meeting. The Foundation awards numerous grants every
year, largely funded by our Foundation, Founding Funders, and other fundraising
events.
