Grant Opportunities

Grant Application Process and Application

The Foundation for Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified Schools awards grants to enrich the curriculum goals of Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified School District. The goals of the grant process are to create new and innovative ways to enhance educational programs for students and staff.

Grant awards must be requested during the school year for which you applied.  If your grant award funding is not requested or you will not be able to use your grant award for the year you applied, your award will be reclaimed by the Foundation, unless an extension has been requested and approved.

School Site grants are reviewed once per year. For the current academic year, the Foundation will allocate $5,000 for school site grants. These grants are specifically designed to impact school sites directly.

Classroom Educational grants are reviewed once per year. For the current academic year, the Foundation will allocate $5,000 for educational grants. These grants will be used to support the District’s overall educational goals.

Program grants are reviewed once per year. For the current academic year, the Foundation will allocate up to $20,000 for the enhancement of overall educational programs for the students and staff of Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified School District through expanded funding opportunities for arts, agriculture, athletics, and academics.  No grant application request in any area can exceed $5,000.

Principals must be made aware of your grant application, as they will be automatically notified for approval when applications are submitted.
